GCE Advanced Level Candidates

  • Passes in three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better).
  • Also, the applicant must have had credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subject (for Science students).

Mature Candidates

Applicants must be at least 25 years by September 1 of the academic year s/he wants to enrol:

  • A General Aptitude Test.
  • A Subject Area

Both administered by the University.

Post-Diploma

A diploma in a pertinent topic from the University of Education, Winneba, or another accredited school, is required of candidates.

The attained class needs to pass an interview and be second class or above.

Those who pass will be allowed to advance to Level 300.

Level 300 admission is available to diploma applicants from the UEW Department of Music Education who have a GPA of 2.5 or above.
